I now have some more Alara Reborn cards that have been spoiled. These were translated from Japanese, so the wording might not be exact.
The first card will be the card with the new keyword. The new keyword is Double Cast. Don’t confuse double cast and double strike, they’re completly different things. Here is its reminder text:
“Reveal cards from the top of your library until you reveal a nonland card with lesser converted mana cost than this spell. You may play that card without paying its mana cost. Put all other cards revealed this way on the bottom of your library in any order.”
Here is the Alara Reborn card that shows that keyword:

I don’t really know how well this card is going to work. I’ve never seen this mechanic before, so I can’t review it too well. Now, onto the most interresting card I have to reveal today:

This is a gold hybrid card, which is completly new. It seems like this is going to be a theme for the Alara Reborn set, with at least one third of the set containing cards like this one. As a card, it’s nothing special. It’s a 2/4 with double strike for 4 mana. This is fine, but if the mana cost didn’t have a hybrid, nobody would even notice this card.
Let’s see the next card:

Here’s the first time the mechanics from different shards have combined. This could be a good card in the right deck, because it can power up both Bant and Esper decks.
Here’s card 3:

This seems like a good card to make it so that your one drops can do something later in the game. If you draw a 1/1 for one mana, you can put a Wing counter on it. Remember, you can put more than one wing counter on the same creature, if you want, so don’t be afraid to play it then put all of the counters on it for a while.

We have the first non promo card from Alara Reborn spoiled. It also has a scan, so I’m going to post that instead of my usual MSE mockup.

Is it just me, or is this card a little overpowered? It’s a 5/5 for 4 mana, first, and second it has a great ability that completly obliterates control decks, especiaally if you have more than one so that if one dies, you’ve got backup. I definatly want a copy of this card for my Jund deck, I’m not sure about anyone else.

These are the three booster pack images for Alara Reborn:

These three images will probably appear on cards in the set, so you can look out for those cards.

While I do not have the picture of the prerelease and release cards, I do have their MSE Mockup images with full text. (First ARB cards with full text!)
Prerelease Promo: Broodmother Dragon

This card is a mythic rare that you will receive when you enter a prerelease tournament. It will be foil, and the artwork will exist, obviously, but this is the card. This card can combo well with a lot of cards. For example, Goblin Assult will give you one goblin each upkeep, and if you stack the abilities the correct way, you can have the dragons eat the goblins as they come into play. There are also ways to gain an extra upkeep, and therefore an extra token.
Release Promo: Knight of New Alara

This card is a great way to give bonuses to your creatures. Unlike the leiges from Shadowmoor and Eventide, these give more bonuses the more colors your creatures have. This card will be great to have at the prerelease, with only multicolored cards, but in constructed you’re probably better off with a leige, which gives bonuses to even monocolored creatures.

Today, it has been announced that a new From the Vaults is coming out. From the Vault: Exiled is the second From the Vault. Unlike From the Vault: Dragons, Exiled cards will all be mythic rares – not that matters at all!
Here’s the expansion symbol:

From the Vault: Exiled will cost $35, same as From the Vault: Dragons. Like From the Vault: Dragons, the only way to get this for anything near $35 will be to preorder it. I already know where I’m preordering it from, and I will share that as soon as preorders are open. That website got me From the Vault: Dragons for $35, and on time. From the Vault: Exiled, like From the Vault: Dragons, will contain 15 cards, 8 with new artwork, all in black borders, some for the first time. They will all be double foiled, like From the Vault: Dragons. There is also a die and a collector’s guide included. (I still have everything, including the magnetic case, from From the Vault: Dragons.) Here is a preview image of the cards in From the Vault: Exiled:

I’ve decided to take a break from talking about futrure sets for today, becasue that’s all I’ve been doing lately. (Although possibly a big announcement sometime this week.) So today, I’m going to posr a few combos that I’ve found.
The first combo is a swing for infinity combo. There might be better choices for infinate damage, because if your opponent doesn’t lose that turn (ex. by playing fog), you lose, but it would be fun to pull off.

Play Mass Hysteria and Dijinn Illuminatus. Play Pact of the Titan. Replicate a few trillion times. Make sure you have enough mana to counter fog or whatever your opponent tries to play to pervent combat damage. The only thing that could save you if fog or holy day resolves is Angel’s Grace or a few trillion mana. (It also doesn’t hurt to leave a few billion giants untapped so you’re not open to your opponent’s attack. It would be very funny to have a few trillion 4/4 giants out and then lose to your opponent’s attack.)
The second combo is more of a strategy. The combo is Worldpurge and Oblivion Ring.

This combo will allow you to have a huge creature out that would normally be destroyed very quickly. You can cast (I have to get into the habit of saying cast, not play, because play is turning into cast, if you don’t already know) any permanent (preferably a big creature with flying and/or trample) and oblivion ring it, where it will remain safely reoved from the game while you worldpurge everything (including Obivion Ring) back to the owner’s hand. When Oblivion Ring leaves play to return to your hand, you’ll get back your big creature, and because your opponent will have only one mana, not enough to cast a destroy spell. If you remove 2 big creatures from the game with oblivion ring, you will be ale to mount a large attack on the next turn, and your opponent will have nothing to do about it! Not only that, but you will also have your oblivion rings either in your deck or in your hand, so you can use it on your opponent’s permanents whenever you want. (Just don’t O-Ring your opponent’s permanents before the worldpurge.)

Sorry for the lack of posting for a while. I have not had the time to write a post since Thursday. Tomorrow (March 16) I will write a real post, probably sometime in the afternoon.
